Mauro Tarakdian, hailing from Brazil, now makes his home in Los Angeles, California, where he continues to leave a significant mark on the world of music as both a drummer and educator. His journey with drums began in his Brazilian childhood, setting the stage for a career that would see him performing and recording with a diverse array of bands and artists.

Beyond his contributions as a performer, Mauro founded NGBP, a resource that has offered drumming education to hundreds of drummers and percussionists, fostering a vibrant community of musicians. His leadership was recognized during his tenure as Editor-in-Chief of Modern Drummer Brazil magazine in 2007.

After moving to the United States, Mauro has continued teaching and collaborating with bands and artists. Outside of music, he enjoys cycling and drum manufacturing and is an avid soccer fan.

Maddox Raiden Eckert, a Jazz Studies major with a focus on drums at the University of California, Irvine, brings a musical journey spanning 15 years. He has performed across the nation and explored a range of genres including rock, classical, and jazz.

Under the guidance of Isaiah Spencer and Jason Harnell, Maddox has honed his technical abilities and developed a deep appreciation for the artistry of drumming. He blends musical excellence with an encouraging, student-centered teaching approach.

Maddox is also an avid dog lover and enjoys building meaningful connections—bringing patience, positivity, and structure into every lesson.
