Serving Costa Mesa from our Irvine showroom
Musical Instrument Retail, Rentals, Repairs & Music Lessons Near Costa Mesa, CA
Costa Mesa calls itself the City of the Arts, and it earns the title. The Pacific Symphony plays at Segerstrom Center, Orange Coast College sends working musicians out every year, and kids across Newport-Mesa are picking up their first instruments in school. If you’re looking for a music store near Costa Mesa that can keep up with all of it, Irvine Art and Music Center is about 15 to 25 minutes away.
We sell instruments, rent them to students, repair them at our own bench, and teach private lessons. A first violin, a guitar that won’t stay in tune, and weekly piano lessons can all start with the same phone call.
Music in Costa Mesa Starts Young
Newport-Mesa Unified is one of the NAMM Foundation’s Best Communities for Music Education, and the district is still adding programs. TeWinkle Middle School and KillyBrooke Elementary were the first Newport-Mesa schools to earn Save The Music grants for core band and orchestra, and TeWinkle feeds straight into Estancia High, so those young players have somewhere to keep going. Every new program means more students who need an instrument that fits, plays in tune, and survives a year of being carried to school and back. For most families, that starts with a school band or orchestra rental, well before anyone’s ready to buy.
We work with families from the Eastside, the Westside, Mesa Verde, and around Costa Mesa High, along with adults picking music back up and Orange Coast College students getting ready for auditions. Whatever stage you’re at, it’s a short drive to one team that handles the instrument, the repairs, and the lessons.
